Welcome!

Broadway Baptist Church has been at the heart of Chesham for over 300 years. We are a busy town centre church that seeks to serve the local community and you will see from the list of regular activities that our weekly programme caters for all ages.

We hope that all who come here will discover more of God’s love and concern for them in a personal way, and the relevance and power of Christian faith for our daily lives and for the world.

Sunday worship is relaxed, thoughtful and informal and is led by a number of different worship leaders and musicians. We use mostly contemporary music but also include some traditional hymns.

In addition to Sunday worship, Homegroups are an important part of life at Broadway and many in the church belong to these. Groups meet most weeks on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings and there is also a daytime group on Tuesday afternoons. The informal atmosphere of these groups provides an ideal environment for developing closer friendships and supporting and encouraging each other, as well as growing in our faith together.
