Community Fridge
Each year in the UK over 60% of the food that we waste could have been eaten if only we were more creative about sharing it with those who could use it. That’s over 4 million tonnes of avoidable waste.
We are delighted to host Chesham’s Community Fridge, organised by King’s Church. Anyone is welcome to come and collect a bag free of charge - and help reduce food waste.
It is open every Wednesday and Saturday morning from 10am to 12 noon.
How to get a bag of food from Chesham’s Community Fridge:
-
Bring a strong plastic ‘bag for life’ with fabric handles (or a one-off bag donation of £1)
-
Arrive in good time and join the queue
-
You will be given a filled bag
-
Bring back your empty, very clean bag and exchange it for your next full bag of food

Community cafe
We hold Coffee Pot - our community cafe - on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 12 noon.
Come and enjoy a cuppa and chat to new and familiar faces.
We know that keeping everyone safe is important. Read about our Safeguarding.
