Our team
Each local Baptist church appoints its own minister and elects deacons, who together form the leadership team.
Meet our Pastor
Tim Judson
Tim moved here in August 2025 with his wife, Becca, and their boys, Micah and Boaz.
He has previously ministered in Honiton, Guildford, Bristol and Wolverhampton - and also served at points in Uganda, Rwanda, Israel/Palestine, Thailand and Peru. All of these experiences have formed him in different ways, stretching and shaping his understanding of Christian community in the world.
Before coming to Chesham, he taught theology at Regent’s Park College, Oxford, and is now a Research Fellow for the Las Casas Institute for Social Justice at Blackfriars Hall, Oxford.
When he is not being a pastor, he is either running endlessly in the Chiltern Hills, baking bread, grinding coffee, playing guitar and singing, or goofing around with his family and dog called Mabel.
